I am a Black Cat member and am very familiar with several generations of Chris's digital cables. They are outstanding performers and a good value. I purchased a pair of Morpheus ICs and was shocked. They are extremely transparent with pure and grain-free tones. Cymbals are realistic with long decays. Audiophiles - I hate that word, brings to mind negative connotations like paedophiles or necrophiles - seem to love spending money. That view, at least, is clear to hi-fi manufacturers. If you dont believe me, just look at the prices of high end gear nowadays. Less than 20 years ago, the most expensive amplifier was the Audio Note Ongaku which was selling for around $50,000, an astronomical price even by modern standards. At least the Ongaku justified its price with all that silver lining…

I installed two Veloce and an XV-Ultra as component video cables between my Motorola HD cable box and my 11 year old Toshiba CRT HDTV. Wow! Now my cable channels that are in HD look like Blu-Ray movies; deeper colors, blacker blacks and more three dimensional. Highly recommended!

cables "direccionality" i agree with the teory but....... in practice i´ve done my "homework" and yes: inverting one of the cables makes music more or less natural (for me).
